Chocolate marble cake

There’s nothing better than a simple cake, where you just have to combine all the ingredients together and bake in the oven. This is a quick and practical recipe and the result is a delicious and moist cake. I hope you like it.



INGREDIENTS:
  • 200 g of unsalted butter, softened
  • 160 g of sugar
  • 250 g of self-rising flour
  • 60 g of dark chocolate, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • Dark chocolate
  • Unsalted butter and flour for the cake tin

METHOD:
  1. Heat oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a cake tin.
  2. Beat the butter with the sugar (sifted) until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring in circular movements. Mix the flour.
  4. Divide the mixture in two parts. Stir the melted chocolate into one part of the mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture with no chocolate into the cake tin, then add some chocolate pieces and finally the chocolate mixture.
  6. Bake for approximately 40 minutes (or until an inserted wooden skewer comes out clean) and pour some melted chocolate.
